This document summarizes a student project called "Project Paper" that aimed to create awareness about reducing paper consumption. The students developed plans to educate their school, neighborhood, and homes about how cutting down trees for paper contributes to global warming and the future shortage of paper. They created posters and paper bags with reuse messages and held a school assembly presentation. This resulted in increased recycling and reduced paper waste among the 1000+ students and staff at their school. The students felt the project was a learning experience that taught them about teamwork and taking action to help the environment.
