Interdisciplinary education about climate change allows learners to engage with environmental issues from different perspectives, think creatively in problem-solving, and act as global citizens. Expedition classroom resources developed by university students provide first-hand experiences of climate change impacts. Outreach events give learners opportunities to interact with experts and participate in hands-on activities to understand climate change concepts. An interdisciplinary approach helps learners engage with global issues through different means, think creatively, and understand the importance of collaboration across subjects.
