Whenever you quote, paraphrase, summarize, or refer to the work of someone else (book, essay, website or otherwise), you are required to cite its source (both in text and at the end). Failing to do so will result in a referral and a zero and possibly being kicked out of a school. The internet tells you how to do everything. Stop making excuses and be responsible for your learning.
