Objective
The objective of the clap switching
project is to create a sound-activated
switch that responds to clapping.
This device aims to provide hands-
free control over electrical
appliances, enhancing convenience
and accessibility. Through simple
claps, users can activate or
deactivate connected devices
effortlessly.

The Atmega32p is an AVR 8-bit microcontroller
chip produced by Microchip Technology. It
features 32KB of Flash memory and 2KB of
RAM, along with multiple peripheral interfaces
such as UART, SPI, and ADC. The "p"
designation often signifies low power
consumption, making it suitable for battery-
operated devices. It's commonly utilized in
embedded systems, industrial automation, and
educational projects due to its versatility and
reliability.

BC547 Transistor
The BC547 is a general-purpose NPN
bipolar junction transistor (BJT) commonly
used in electronic circuits for amplification
and switching purposes. It's designed for low
to medium power applications with a
maximum collector current of 100mA. With
its high current gain and low saturation
voltage, it's widely used in audio amplifiers,
signal processing circuits, and general
switching applications. The BC547 is
available in a TO-92 package, making it
easy to handle and solder onto PCBs.

Methodology
The development of a custom clap switch
utilizing the Atmega32 microcontroller follows a
