The Institute to Advance International Education (IAIE) provides a range of consulting services to help clients design and implement English language learning programs. These services include needs assessments, customized proposals and recommendations, curriculum and materials development, professional development for teachers, and partnerships with other organizations. IAIE works with clients to determine their goals and design programs, recruit qualified teachers, provide evaluation tools, and align programs with established education standards.

IAIE researches and recommends a program that addresses: • Entry requirements for United States schools • Test preparation including selection of materials for students to use that lead to successful applications to US schools • A course of study to improve the use of academic English among Chinese middle and high school students • Recruits teachers to enact the course of study.

Another client recognizes the need for their teachers of English to 1) improve their language proficiency and 2) increase their literacy teaching skills. • Based on a needs assessment, IAIE designs a custom course of study that addresses the client’s goals • Sends a professional development team to the client’s training site • Provides the training and evaluates the outcomes • Follows up with additional recommendations to further achieve the client’s goals
