I. Sharing Of Thoughts, Feelings And Ideas By Speech, Signals Or Writing.
II. Levels of Communication
Intrapersonal Communication:
Unexpressed thoughts within human mind
Interpersonal Communication:
Communication between/among various agents
III. Methods of Communication:
One-Way
IV. Memo, fax, e-mail, voice mail, letter.
V. Two-Way
VI. Phone call, in-person
VII. Collaborative
VIII. Team meetings, consulting, consensus, decision making, group problem solving.

Communication can Classified on the Following

A. Channel or Network – Formal and Informal.
B. Direction of Message Downward Upward

 Non-verbal body language.
 Style of speech.
 Rhythm of speech.
 Formal Communication – It refers to the
official communication which takes place
following the chain of command in the
organization.
