This document presents a comparative study of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) methods, specifically the Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (INC) methods implemented with a buck converter using Arduino. It discusses the significance of renewable energy, particularly solar power, its implementation for charging lead-acid batteries, and the challenges faced with different MPPT algorithms. Additionally, it includes project details such as hardware components used, system descriptions, and testing methodologies for the algorithms.
