e-ILP Content:   by the end of this training you will be able to: Access your course.  Access our tutees e-ILPs Understand the 3 main sections in the e-ILP Add Student Info Grades, Diagnostic and Tutors details Navigate in and out pages in eILPs Review Targets Comment and manage Targets Add Reviews Ask your student to comment on review Set New targets and Deadlines Ask your student to add comment on new target Check your student email address  Student  Number @student.efc.ac.uk (“student.” may be missing)
e-ILP IMPORTANT Students’ log in has changed: Their password is now the same as their network password Username is their student number When completing  eILPs  it is important for both you and your students to be logged in at the same time.   So you need to open 2 windows for Moodle!
Staff Login to efcLIVE http://learn.efc.ac.uk/ Click the link above to access Moodle Type your name in the username window: Initial+ Surname 1   Password if not already set is “password” 2   Click “Login” 3
e-ILP Click on your  live course . Blue link  (Gray ones are archived) 1   If your course is not visible go to all courses instead
e-ILP You can access eILPs from your online course page by clicking here 1
e-ILP Click on View ILPs to view individual’s ILP 2   You get an overview of all your students 1
e-ILP If you have a lot of students, you can narrow your search by using this tool: Select First Name or/and Surname first letter 1
e-ILP This is the new eILP format 1
e-ILP There are 3 main areas Progress Reviews 3   Student Info 1   Targets 2
e-ILP Click on Students info 1
e-ILP This is what you should see Click edit to enter the  data for each section:  Tutors Grades Diagnostic If you cannot see these 3 sections please go to next slide 1
e-ILP If what you are  seeing is this, then click on edit 1
e-ILP Click on reset 1   You will loose name of tutors entered but will acquire the new format.
e-ILP Please enter the relevant data for each created field: Tutors Grades Diagnostic Remember to scroll down if they are not all visible  1   Save 2
e-ILP You are now back on this page Now make sure your students has entered information for the second section If not please click edit, and repeat the same steps as on page 14. 1   If your student has a disability  you can reset the format but remember that you will loose the data entered in this section. So either reinter it or copy it into word or notepad prior to resetting and paste it back into it once reformatted.
e-ILP Click ILP to return to your student eILP page 1
e-ILP You are back on your student’s eILP homepage Student Info 1   Targets 2   Progress Reviews 3
e-ILP You can see the last 2 targets set 1   Targets
e-ILP Targets You or your student should add comment to target 1   You should review the status of target Achieved? Withdrawn? 2   Targets’ history is available here 3
e-ILP You can access the reviews by clicking on this link 1   Reviews
e-ILP Reviews You can access  all the past reviews by clicking on this link 1   Your student can add comment to your review Agree/disagree… 2   To add a new review  click here 3
e-ILP Reviews Save 3   Add your comments here 2   Enter 1 to 4  for attendance, punctuality, deadlines and standards 1= Excellent  4= Poor 1
e-ILP Ask your student to comment your review 1   You can add review , concern or contribution Or change your student status here 2
e-ILP Click ILP to return to your student eILP page 1
e-ILP You now need to set 1 or more new targets to address your review Remember to makle them SMART! Targets Click Add Target 1
e-ILP Targets What is the target  about? 1   If it is course  related please tick 2   Set target Make it achievable  and measurable 3   Agree with your student of the  deadline 4   Remember to save ! 4
e-ILP Ask your student to comment the new target 1   Targets Repeat the process as you see fit.
e-ILP Finally ask your student to click on his/her name to access his/her profile 1
Changing my profile His/her profile appears. Click on change password. 1
Changing my profile Complete all 3 fields and change your password 1   Click on Save changes 2
Changing my profile Now Click on Edit Profile
Changing my profile Ask him/her to Change his/her email address To  Student Number @student.efc.ac.uk If not yet set (“student.” may be missing) 1   Decide whether you want it to be displayed 2   It must be enabled 3
OPTIONAL!   Changing my profile Below they can add a description about themselves if they want They must upload their picture/avatar Browse their computer or USB key. Then choose and upload 1   2   3
MUST SAVE!!! Changing my profile Click on update profile 2
