The concept of the SnorriCam has been around for decades. Various ad hoc versions of the device were implemented in films going as far back as Seconds , in 1966. Some of the movies in which SnorriCam has been used are : Mean Streets Dil Chahta Hai Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels ∏ Malcolm Guru Requiem For A Dream So what exactly is a SnorriCam?

It is a camera that is rigged to the body of the actor, facing the actor directly, so when he walks, he does not appear to move, but everything around him does.

8 The Flying Spaghetti Monster was created in 2005 by Bobby Henderson as a satirical protest to the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of ‘intelligent design’ as an alternative to biological evolution in public schools. According to Henderson, since the intelligent design movement uses ambiguous references to an unspecified "Intelligent Designer", this leaves open any conceivable entity to fulfil that role, even a Flying Spaghetti Monster. The Flying Spaghetti Monster was discussed by Richard Dawkins in his book The God Delusion . It has also been featured in several other media outlets, including The Colbert Report and Science Friday . Dawkins' reference is satirized in the show South Park, in the episode “Go God Go” (pic on next slide)

10 To Tell the Truth is an American television game show created by Bob Stewart that has been aired intermittently in various forms since 1956 The basic premise of the show consisted of a panel of four celebrities correctly identifying a contestant (a "central character") from a choice of three possibilities, members of a "team of challengers." One of the contestants normally held an unusual occupation or had done something noteworthy, and it was this person whom the panel had to attempt to identify. Two of the people will tell lies, while the real person has sworn "to tell the truth”. At the end of the show, the real person is asked to reveal himself. Famous contestants to this show include Frank Abagnale Jr. (Catch me if you can), Alan Freed, Rosa Parks, Chuck Jones, William Hannah, Gary Trudeau, William Gaines, Stan Lee, and Sergey Brin. How has this show been immortalized in the world of entertainment?

The 2005 United States Grand Prix was run with only six cars, after the Michelin tyres used by the other 14 cars proved unsafe for the circuit. A proposal involving the addition of a temporary chicane to slow cars through the fastest corner of the circuit was rejected by the then FIA President Max Mosley. This effectively forced the teams running Michelin tyres to pull out for safety reasons.

David Prowse , the guy in Darth Vader’s suit. Due to his accent, George Lucas chose James Earl Jones to voice the character. So, we’ve heard Jones’ legendary voice, but never seen Prowse’s face in the Star Wars series.

21 The Chicago @ (often just The @ ) is an untitled monumental sculpture by @ in Chicago, Illinois. The sculpture, dedicated on August 15, 1967 in Daley Plaza in the Chicago Loop, is 50 feet (15.2 m) tall and weighs 162 tons. It was the first such major public artwork in Downtown Chicago, and has become a well known landmark. Visitors to Daley Plaza can often be seen climbing on and sliding down the base of the sculpture. There was speculation on the subject, which ranged from a bird, or aardvark to @'s pet Afghan Hound, or a baboon head. It is known for its inviting jungle gym-like characteristics. @?
