This document presents the design and analysis of a double stator hybrid excitation flux switching machine (ds he-fsm) intended for aircraft applications, aiming for lightweight and high torque density. The proposed machine incorporates six field excitation coils and six permanent magnets, enhancing torque and reliability while addressing challenges in electromagnetic and mechanical design. Performance evaluations through simulations show significant improvements in flux linkage, cogging torque, and induced EMF, indicating its suitability for the transition to all-electric aircraft.
