This document summarizes the design and fabrication of a low-cost data logger to measure solar energy parameters. A printed circuit board was designed with a microcontroller as the central processing unit. Sensors were used to measure temperature with an LM35 sensor and solar voltage variations from a solar panel. The data logger successfully logged temperature and solar voltage data over three days, with results consistent with normal weather conditions. The design of an affordable data logger on a single board allows for monitoring of solar energy availability.
