This document describes the design of an open badge system for a technology integration course. Future Design Iterations • Design of strategy and integration level badges. • Creating pathways for people to earn badges not in our classes, particularly inservice teachers. • Scaling assessment. • Maintaining accuracy of rubrics and tutorials as tools evolve and change. • Creating a smart dashboard management tool for people to log in and track their progression on badges (ala Khan Academy).
