- 1. Summer Holiday Assignment - Developing Ideas You need to come up with three songs thatyou could usefor this assignment. Come up with a concept for what you could do for each song. You need to consider: Reasons why you want to do that particular song (could be to do with the song itself, audience, message/meaning of the song etc) Style of Video – Performance, Narrative, Concept or a combination of all three. Outline how you would explore the style (i.e. what would you do/film) Practical details like locations/settings/ Techniques (camera/editing/MES) Actors etc How you are going to use conventions (esp Goodwin) and how you might challenge them. Music Genre and the possible conventions you could use How you will apply the concept of representation You will present your ideas to the class. You will start by playing each song to the class and getting some kind of feedback and then explaining your idea You will need to have evidence of this for your blog so you might want to use prezi.
