A Digipak is a type of CD packaging made from cardstock or heavy paper that can open like a book or have three sections that open to the left and right with the CD in the center. When creating a Digipak, careful consideration must be given to fonts, wording, colors, logo, layout, images, information included, and conventions of CD covers. Digipaks typically have either 4 or 6 panels and feature a main image on the front, song list on the back, production company logo, barcode, and name of the artist and album. An example template for a 6-panel Digipak is provided to guide design of an original Digipak.
