What Is Google Display Network?
 Google AdWords is split into two networks, the Search Network and the Display
Network. When advertising on the Search Network, businesses place text ads in the
search engine results. On the Display Network, businesses instead place display ads
on a huge network of sites across the internet.
 Display ads are the visual banner ads you see on advertising-supported sites
everywhere.
 According to Google, the Display Network reaches over 90% of global internet
users expanding across 2 million sites!

How To Create A Display Network Campaign?
 After signing up to google
AdWords you are able to see
this page.
 Click on + symbol to create a
new campaign
 Make sure you are in
Campaign section
Click
Here
Click on new campaign
Select display network from the below categories
Choose a goal below based on your preference
Give a name to the campaign which is
suitable for your product or service & easy
to recognise.
In target location you can target
countries, Territories and areas where
you want show your ads.
In advanced search by using
radial targeting you can target a
localize area within a city.
Choose the language that more
understandable to the targeted
audience & to reach more people.
Choose a bidding strategy
based on your goal, it will be
an Action, impression or
click.
For beginners Manual
CPC is suggested, it let you
manage your maximum CPC
bids yourself.
Daily budget is the
amount you are willing
to spend each day on
your campaign, you can
adjust it based on your
preference.
You can rotate your text and image ads on single website both ads can’t display
from single account at a time.
You can schedule your ad running time.
You can restrict your ads to particular dates.
You can select devices where you want to show your ad.
Restricting (capping) the number of times (frequency) a specific visitor to a
website is shown a particular advertisement.
People in, or who show interest in, your targeted locations
The tracking template is the URL you want to people go through before
reaching your landing page
opt out of showing your ads on content that doesn't fit your
brand
Targeting Methods
 Automatic Targeting: Automatically expand your targeting to find new
customers.
 Manual Targeting(Contextual): 1) Keywords
2) Topics
 3) Placements: Choose specific websites, videos or apps where you'd like to
show your ads
Demographic Targeting: Reach people based on age, gender, parental status or
household income
Audiences:
 Affinity: Groups of people based on their long-term interest
 Remarketing: People who previously interacted with your business and similar
audiences
 Intent: Consumers actively researching products
 You can set bid amount for the Ad group
 After choosing ad group bid you have to create a new ad for your ad group.
Creating An Ad
You can create an Ad in three ways in Google Display network.
1. Responsive Ads: Digital ads embedded on web pages that adapt—in shape,
dimensions and/or layout—for devices and browsing environments of very
different sizes.
2. Copy existing Ads: We can copy the we have already created from other
campaigns.
3. Upload Display Ads: You can upload image ads as GIF, JPG and PNG.
You can upload HTML5 ads as ZIP.
Responsive Ad
 You can scan your website to find suitable
images for your ad.
 You can upload images on your own
 You can use the images you used before for an
ad
 Or you can use the images you previously
uploaded known as stock images
