- 5. Article 1 Reflection Point 2 (Developing 21 st century literacies) stood out because with the growth of technology both teachers and student are challenged to figure out how new things work. Learning technology can take time so it can really effect both teachers and students. They make become frustrated and forget what the actual project was.
- 6. Comparison of Lecture & Online A study was done to compare students that took classes online vs the traditional lecture in a classroom. Researchers studied the test scores, participation, and final outcome of class. In doing this study researches learned that there was not much difference in test scores. However there was a bit of a difference in participation. Students in a traditional classroom participated more. The reasoning that researchers came up with was…..
- 7. Continue… because online student have to communicate by telephone, email, and chat group. Having to deal with more technology online students have a more difficult time participating. - 8. Article 2 Reflection I could personal relate to this article. I have taken bot online and traditional lecture classes. I believe that the test scores and participation really depends on the type of student. A student that does well in there other classes will do good in the one’s online was well. The only problem I do see them facing is being computer literate. I do enjoy being able to work at my own pace.
- 9. Podcast This article discusses the effective uses of podcast. A podcast is simply a blog with voice. Any form of MP3 files ca play podcast and cab be burned to CDs. Podcast have become a helpful tool in academic. Students can use the for class discussion and also as a studying method to review. If burned to a CD students ca listen to discussions while on the go.

- 11. Article 3 Reflection This class (W200) gave me some background information on podcasting. The article says that podcast should not take place of lecture but I have heard of some online class that give lectures through podcast. My experience with podcasting in the past was very easy with the telephone method given by Gabcast . If you have not heard of it try it out it is very user friendly.

- 13. Conclusion This was the first semester that I have taken any online classes. I found it very convenient having a newborn. I have learned about online and computer technology. Learning about the growth of online classes makes me wonder about future technology. The traditional classroom will continue to change and there will be more and more was to teach and learn with different methods of technology.
