- 2. DocSecure DocSecure is a configurable tool for manipulating PDF documents within Alfresco and Documentum. Leveraging the latest PDF libraries, it provides configurable, real-time dynamic watermarking and security to PDF files when opened from Alfresco or Documentum, ensuring control and compliance. DocSecure‘s architecture is designed to provide high performance, while restricting the number of servers required and therefore the license and maintenance costs. Watermarking • Configurable dynamic watermarking, based on metadata, security and user information or any DQL-retrievable information. • Different rules can be set for view, print, controlled print and export operations • Configurable addition of pages (e.g. eSignature, version information, properties) • Automatic detection of page size and orientation with Best Fit option • Dynamic addition of information including: • Properties • Query results • Current date / time • User information • Page number / total pages • Controlled printing information • Setting PDF security – active even if exported eSignature / other pages • Signature / History page templates • Information read from Documentum / Alfresco using XDQL and formatting using XLSFO – enabling extension / configuration by the customer. • Information applied to the page can be metadata from Documentum / Alfresco, fixed text or other content (e.g. Image file in Documentum of the user‘s scanned signature), including calculated data (e.g. Connected user).
