FUR
Not Enough
The most prominent piece of text will be
the artist name and album name. This
allows for direct focus on the product
being sold, and ensures a brand identity is
constructed by making it clear that this is
the product name. The name ‘FUR’ is
abstract and conceptual, thus making it
conventional of the indie genre. Likewise,
the title ‘Not Enough’ has both direct link
to the music video we have produced, and
further communicates the same sombre,
nostalgic tone as is seen within this former
product.
The award-winning debut album
Featuring the hit single Not Enough
06/01/18
This aspect of text aims to simultaneously engage and inform
an audience. Phrases such as ‘award-winning’ and ‘hit single’
are not only conventionally seen on digipak adverts; however
further indicate a degree of credibility which is essential when
promoting niche artists. Such statements suggests that the
audience should be familiar with the band and song, hence
subtly encouraging them to buy the product. Furthermore, the
inclusion of a release date serves as both a means of building
suspense, as well as informing consumers who intend to
purchase the digipak. I have chosen to use a numerical rather
than written date, as it’s contrast to the portion of writing by
which it is placed will ensure that it stands out, emphasising
it’s sharp, direct and purposeful nature.
