Worry free day
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry:
One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders,
its aches and pains.

We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said.
Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow with all its possible adversities,
its burdens, its large promiand its poor performance; Tomorrow is also beyond our
immediate control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet to be born.

This leaves only one day, Today. Any person can fight the battle of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities Yesterday and
Tomorrow that we break down.

Live one day at a time !

Fill your bag
Fill a baggie with a Toothpick, Rubber band, Band aid, Pencil, Eraser, Chewing gum,
Mint, Candy kiss, Tea bag...

1. Toothpick - to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others.

2. Rubber band - to remind you to be flexible: things might not always work out the
way you want, but it will work out.

3. Band aid - to remind you to heal hurt feelings, yours and someone else's.

4. Pencil - to remind you to list your blessings everyday.

5. Eraser - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it's OK.

6. Chewing gum - to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything.

7. Mint - to remind you that you are worth a mint!.

8. Candy kiss - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug every day.

9. Tea bag - to remind you to relax daily and go over your list of blessings

Heart is beautiful garden
Once a Junior School teacher asked her students to bring some potatoes in a plastic bag to
school. Each potato will be given a name of the person whom that child hates. Like this, the
number of potatoes will be equal to the number of persons they hate.

On a decided day the children brought their potatoes well addressed. Some had two, some had
three and some had even five potatoes. The teacher said they have to carry these potatoes with
them everywhere they go for a week. As the days passed the children started to complain about
the spoiled smell that started coming from these potatoes. Also some students who had many
potatoes complained that it was very heavy to carry them all around.

The children got rid of this assignment after a week, when it got over. The teacher asked, " How
did you feel in this one week? “ The children discussed their problems about the smell and
weight. Then the teacher said, This situation is very similar to what you carry in your heart when
you don't like some people. This hatred makes your heart unhealthy and you carry that hatred in
your heart everywhere you go.

If you cannot bear the smell of spoiled potatoes for a week, imagine the impact of this hatred that
you carry throughout your life, on your heart?"

Morale:
Our Heart is a beautiful garden that needs a regular cleaning of unwanted weeds. Forgive those
who have not behaved with you as expected and forget the bad things. This also makes room
available for storing good things.

Focus on getting a solution
Faith enables one to bring solutions to problems.

When problems come, we tend to overreact to it or exaggerate it to such an
extent that it becomes a trap for us, Instead of working on the problem we
fall prey to it making all our thoughts negative.

Once we ore caught up in negativity we will neither look for, nor find
solutions.

Each thought of ours is important when working on a problem. Instead of
making our thoughts negative, we need to remind ourselves that what we are
going through is a test which we must pass with honor.

When we have this thought, all our energy will be focused on working to
bring a solution.


Ant’s philosophy
All of us tend to look up to big people for lessons on how to get better. We are keen to learn the secrets of
their success. But we forget that sometimes the biggest lessons in life come from the smallest folks around us.
Now that’s a good lesson to remember! Take ants for instance. Would you believe those small creatures can
teach us how to live a better life? Here are the four lessons from ‘Ants Philosophy’.

1.Ants never quit. how ants always look for a way around an obstacle? Put your finger in an ant’s path and it
will try and go around it, or over it. It will keep looking for a way out. It won’t just stand there and stare. It won’t
give up and go back. We should all learn to be like that. There will always be obstacles in our lives. The
challenge is to keep trying, keep looking for alternative routes to get to our goals. “Never, never give up!”

1.Ants think winter all summer. Remember the old story of the ant and the grasshopper? In the middle of
summer, the ant was busy gathering food for the winter ahead – while the grasshopper was out having a good
time. Ants know that summer - the good times – won’t last forever. Winters will come. That’s a good lesson to
remember. When the going is good, don’t be so arrogant as to believe that a crisis or a setback cannot
happen to you. Be good to other people. Save for a rainy day. Look ahead. And remember, good times may
not last, but good people do.
3. Ants think summer all winter. As they suffer through the unbearable cold of the winter, ants keep
reminding themselves that it won’t last forever, and that summer will soon be here. And with the first rays of
the summer sun, the ants come out – ready to work, ready to play. When we are down, when we go through
never-ending crisis, it’s good to remind ourselves that this too shall pass. Good times will come.
4. Ants do all they possibly can. How much food does an ant gather in summer? All that it possibly can!
Now that’s a great work ethic to have. Do all you can! One ant doesn’t worry about how much food another ant
is collecting. Nor does it complain about the poor pay! Ants just do their bit. Success and happiness are
usually the result of giving 100% - doing all you possibly can. If you look around you, you’ll find that successful
people are those who just do all, they possibly can.


Find True Joy Using Your Potential
Your greatest success and happiness in life will be found when you use your
natural abilities to their fullest extent. Happiness Is not having or being. It's in
the doing.

The essence of true wisdom is to know that rest is rust, and that real life is
activity, laughter, and love.

You were created to conquer your environment, to solve problems, and to
achieve goals. You’ll find no real satisfaction or happiness in life without
obstacles to conquer and goals to achieve.

Yes, there is true happiness. It's found in doing a job well done, in achieving a
worthy goal, in putting your child
to sleep, and in writing the last line of your poem.

Your personal growth itself contains the seed of happiness.


Enjoy the dance
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round Or listened to the rain slapping on
the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight Or gazed at the sun into the
fading night?
You better slow down, Don't dance so fast, Time is short - The music won't last

Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie In your bed with the next hundred chores running
through your head?
You'd better slow down, Don't dance so fast Time is short - The music won't last

Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow And in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die ‘Cause you never had time to call and say
"HI"?

When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry & hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift ..Thrown away
Life is not a race, Do take it slower…Hear the music before your song is over.


Power of love
There is no thinking person Who can stand untouched today
And view the world around us drifting downward to decay
Without feeling deep within them a silent unnamed dread,
Wondering how to stem the chaos that lies frightfully ahead .. .
But the problems we are facing cannot humanly be solved
For our diplomatic strategy only gets us more involved
And our skillful ingenuity, our technology and science
Can never change a sinful heart filled with hatred and defiance ...

So our problems keep on growing every hour of every day
As man vainly tries to solve them in his own SELF-WILLFUL WAY ...
But man is powerless alone to CLEAN UP THE WORLD OUTSIDE ...
Until his own polluted soul is CLEAN and FREE INSIDE ...
For the amazing power of love is beyond all comprehension
And it alone can heal this world of its hatred and dissention

Persistence not failure
Everyone meets failure in their journey through life. To overcome failure,
you need to concentrate and focus your energy on your goal. If you don't
succeed the first time, try another way.

We are easily distracted or side-tracked by working on areas that bear no
relation to our goal. Keep your goal focused in your mind at all Times.

Put your energy and effort into completing Tasks that move you closer to
your goal. Even if you set aside only 30 minutes a day, you are being
persistent and consistently moving closer and closer to your goal.

Ask yourself if you have been defeated by your own lock of persistence
without realizing it.

Step back and take a hard look at how persistent you have really been.


Go .. get more…
You do not grow old simply by living a certain number of years. You grow
old only when you stop filling those years with new substance and value.
Don't spend all your time and energy merely confirming again and again
what you already know. That will make you too old too soon.
Instead, put your effort & energy into learning, discovering & experiencing
what you do not yet know. That will keep your life young, fresh & vibrant,
even as the years continue to progress.
There are all kinds of new things you can learn today. There are all sorts of
great ways to challenge your assumptions and increase your wisdom.
If you think you know it all, you're cheating yourself out of the opportunity
to continually build upon your knowledge If you refuse to challenge your
beliefs, those beliefs will begin to imprison you rather than support you.
Treasure the knowledge you possess and all the rich experiences you've
had. Then get up, get out there and get a whole lot more.


Is laziness holding you back
Now, I'm not insinuating that you're lazy - just by reading this you're far from it. But think
for a moment how your success would be affected If you were more energetic - if
moments of tiredness, fatigue, low energy, and low motivation weren't part of your daily
life. Would you be more successful? How would your life change?

When you look around, it appears that those most successful people seem to have not
only supreme focus, but they also seem to have found a way to beat the "couch potato"
gene in all of us. They have retired their excuses
and adopted a "do it now" attitude.

There are many ways you can enhance your life by simply "not being lazy." Take some
time today to identify some of those ways in your own life.

Once you do, you can put the "lazies" behind you and look forward to active and
energetic days ahead.

Goals provide the energy source that powers our lives.
Once of the best ways we can get the most from the energy we have us to focus it. That
is what goals can do for us; concentrate our energy.

Garbage law
How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood ????
Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day?
However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly one can get back their focus on what's
important.

Experience: We were driving in taxi in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped
out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and
missed the other car's back end by just inches! The driver of the other car, who almost caused a
big accident, whipped his head around & he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver Just
smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean .. . he was friendly. So, I said, "Why did you Just do
that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" And this is when my taxi driver
told me, "The Law of the Garbage Truck.“

"Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of
anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if
you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it
personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did.“

I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? & how often do I take
their garbage & spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets? It was that day I said,
"I'm not going to do it anymore.” Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Love the
people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for
a reason. Never let the garbage truck run over you .....

Family
What makes a family grow through the years? - share the good times, the
bad times, the laughter, the tears.

with God's help above.

we're filled with God's love.

We're God's family.


Prescription of happiness
• Make up your mind to be happy. Learn to find pleasure in simple things.
• Make the best of your circumstances. No one has everything and everyone
has something of sorrow intermingled with the gladness of life.
• The trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears. Don't take yourself too
seriously.
• You can't please everybody ; don't let criticism worry you.
• Don't let your neighbor set your standards .
• Do the things you enjoy doing, but stay out of debt.
• Don't borrow trouble. Imaginary things are harder to bear than the actual
ones.
• Since hate poisons the soul, do not cherish enmities and grudges.
• Don't hold post-mortems. Don't spend your life brooding over sorrows and
mistakes.
• Don't be one who never gets over things .
• Do what you can for those less fortunate than yourself.
• Keep busy at something. A very busy person never has time to be unhappy.


Slow down
If you live inside an out-of-control- schedule, like trying to cram three
days of work into one, the personal toll is high. Undoubtedly, your stress
levels are high and you feel overwhelmed.

It's ok to slow down & pace yourself. The truth is you'll accomplish more if
you set a reasonable pace; one that you can maintain for the long haul.

Don't forget to schedule time to relax and refresh your body, soul, and
spirit. Dinner with friends, a long walk or even a relaxing bubble bath will
do wonders in letting go and grounding yourself.

You deserve balance in your life. It's up to you to make it happen.


Words of strengths
Think about getting rich, friendships are priceless, time is invaluable,
health is wealth, and love is a treasure.

Create a nest egg of beautiful memories that you can dip into from time to
time to ease any sorrows.

Have the kind of remembrances that raise you up with their worth and
keep you there with their wonder.

Always have a secret supply of hopes on hand to help you plan your
tomorrow. Remember that when you invest in your dreams it is
impossible to overpay.

Give away smiles, & watch them come back to you a hundred times over.

Stuff your pockets with kindness and optimism; there is nothing more
precious in the world.


Build a future
The more you take action, the more good things you'll have coming your way.
You'll come across more and better opportunities, learn more things, and
become more skilled at getting the results you want.
Yes, you're going to make mistakes, and you'll regularly need to adjust your
approach. But that's no reason to avoid action.
In fact, that's a good reason to get started as soon as possible. If you're going
to make mistakes, It's better to get out there, get the mistakes over with, and
learn from them.
Don't sit around wondering and worrying about what might happen. Use your
own actions and your own energy to determine what will happen.
Don't sit around building a list of complaints and regrets. Instead, take real,
focused action and build a positive, fulfilling future for yourself.
Figure out what you want to create, where you want to go, what you want to
experience, and who you want to become. Then get yourself in action and keep
moving in the direction you've chosen.

Seeds of success
People often handle life as they do bad weather, They while away the time
waiting for It to stop. Yet the tide of opportunity comes to everyone.
Opportunity knocks all the time, But you've got to be ready for it. When your
chance comes,
You must have the equipment to take advantage of it.
The race is not to the swift Or the battle to the strong, For time and chance
happen to everyone.
Take a second look at what appears To be someone's "good luck."
You'll find not luck but preparation, Planning and success-producing
thinking.
When you're prepared for opportunity Your chance for success is sure to
come.
The season of failure is the best time For sowing the seeds of success.


Gautam Buddha says
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the
victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons,
heaven or hell. The foot feels the foot when it feels the ground.

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea
that only exists only as an idea.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on
the present moment. All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If
a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks
or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never
leaves him.

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace
to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can
control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and
virtue will naturally come to him.
