- 1. EDI Desktop How to Build an ASN – Step by Step - The Manual Pack Process
- 2. Open the EDI Desktop Icon on the Desktop Building an ASN 2
- 3. Click On Outbound - ASN Functions - ASN Summary Building an ASN 3
- 4. You should then see the following Screen Building an ASN 4
- 5. Click on the ASN Wizard Icon and Select Retailer Building an ASN 5
- 6. Next Select the Buying Code Building an ASN 6
- 7. Next Select the Ship to Location Building an ASN 7
- 8. Enter Shipment Date, Delivery Date, Transporter, BOL and Pack By information • If Shipment Pack is by Carton then select Carton • If Shipment Pack is by Pallet then select Pallet Building an ASN 8
- 9. Next you will need to select the PO or range of POs to be shipped Building an ASN 9
- 10. Select the PO(s) and click Next Building an ASN 10
- 11. Enter the ASN Number or you can use Auto Assign Function Building an ASN 11
- 12. Click on PACK ASN Building an ASN 12
- 13. Click on the Icon labeled FOUR Building an ASN 13
- 15. There are a number of ASN Pack options on the left hand side of the screen which you can use it as per your pick and pack requirements. This shows you the manual pack process. 1-Packing Single Item in a Carton Select the item at Order Detail and Click on New Carton, click ok and the Item will show as packed in a carton on the right hand side of the screen - See screen images below. Partial Pick and Pack Process: 1- Select Item on the Order Details line and click Partial Pack, Enter the qty to pack. 2- The example below is for an item with quantity of three and we are going to partial pack one item in one carton and the remaining two in another carton. 3- Change quantity to pack to one and click ok, this will create one carton with a quantity of one. 4- Select the same item and pack the remaining two items in another carton. Follow the previous steps, select Item - click on new carton and then click OK. Building an ASN 17
- 19. Now you can see below the Item CX1114 Partial Pack in two cartons. Also complete the pick and pack process to All items and click OK. Building an ASN 19
- 21. Label Printing: Once you complete the pick and pack process you will see screen below. Click on the Gen- erate Labels ICON on the left hand side. Select all Labels and Click on Print All. This will open the labels in PDF format which you can then print to your local printer Building an ASN 21
