- 1. Q3.What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
- 2. • After the showcase evening on Monday 20th of March we collected feedback from the audience and got their opinions on our final media product. We had a lot of positive responses, including some constructive criticism. • From the feedback it is clear that people enjoyed the fast paced editing style we chose to fit with the beat of our song. Many shots stood out to our audience including the time lapse of the cars and the ink in the tank. • However, we did also have some criticism. Towards the end of creating our music video we had decided to add a narrative to give the video a deeper meaning. This meant we had to rush to get shots so that we had time to edit it and get it posted in time for the deadline. This therefore meant that we weren’t able to go out and re-shoot any of our shots. It was clear to my group and I that people were confused as to whether the hooded figure was a stalker or an abusive boyfriend. We had planned for him to be hidden as we thought it would add mystery to the scenario but it did end causing some confusion as we did not make this point clear enough. If we were to re-shoot again, we would now know to make this clearer. • Nevertheless, the audience still enjoyed it and I felt they would possibly re- watch the video if there was something they did not understand or just purely to watch it again.

All the shots were cut specifically for the song.” • “I really like the filming of it with the motorway, and the darkness.. it fit the song.” • “I really enjoyed the merging between daylight and night time and having them overlapping.” • “I love the ambiguity of your shots where you never gave your audience a solution..”
