- 8. + On the left we have the front cover to our digi-pak. It was designed with the intention to create a front cover that portrays the ‘work in progress’ style of the band. It is very minimalist and this was taken as inspiration from the ‘alt-j’ album cover from ‘an awesome wave’. Minimalism in music is a very popular route at the moment for indie bands. We feel that our band would create something like this even though they are very new to the industry. Despite not having an actual photo of the band we feel this communicates a stronger image for the band, it doesn’t paint them as a cheesy boy band or anything. It also leaves room for the audience’s interpretation and that is what they stand for as a band, breaking barriers and norms.
