Maleficent curses the infant Princess Aurora after being insulted at Aurora's christening party. To protect her, the King and Queen send Aurora into the woods to be raised by three good fairies. The game then begins, where the player controls Raven to track down Aurora in the woods. Along the way, the player explores the environment, levels up stats, and passes three tests to find Aurora. There are two possible endings - in one, Raven catches Aurora and reveals himself as Prince Phillip, while the other sees Raven letting Aurora fall and contacting Maleficent to claim the job is done.
