Rationale: I think that I have made good progress over the past 2 years. I feel like I have learned a lot about audio especially. I think that I am going to use my skills from making a music video, making an audio drama and a video game the most for this project. This is because I will mainly be using my filming skills from my first project the most and then I will be using a lot of skills that I learned when doing audio in this project too because I will be doing foley and I will also be using a lot of music and sound effects. I also think that I am going to use a little bit of my skills from making a video game because I am going to have to animate some internet things for clips that I am going to have of the internet and different websites being animated and doing things that they are not supposed to, and for this I am going to have to use animation and probably aftereffects to create some of the effects that I am going to want to use. My previous similar production was my documentary because that was filming and I used a lot of colour grading in that, that I am probably going to use something like in my FMP. My music video is very similar to the colour grading that I would like to use in my FMP, and I think a lot of the camera angles and shots are going to be like my FMP. Project Concept: I am going to make a trailer on the keys that people own that can turn off most of the internet. For the trailer though, the keys are going to turn off the whole of the internet so that it is more entertaining. It’s going to show what power the people that hold them have and it is also going to show how much the internet effects everyone and how much it effects our everyday life. It’s most likely going to show how the internet can be more dangerous than people think, and it is also going to show how a lot of the internet works and how the keys would stop the internet from working. For this project I am going to research how the internet works in detail and I am also going to research who owns the keys and where they are all held. I am also going to research the companies that own then and who owns the internet and how it came about in the first place. I am also going to research how the keys work and where everyone would go to use them. The reason that I am going to research this is because even though my trailer is going to be completely accurate to real life. It’s going to be based on the keys in real life and all the locations and people are going to be the same. How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: I am going to evacuate the work in different ways. I am going to log what I am doing each day and all the work that I have done and then at the end of production and working I am going to evaluate what I could have done better like how I could have managed my time better or how I could have used better locations or camera angels. I am also going to look back at all my work at the end and see what I would have changed to make it better and how I could have made it more entertaining or suitable for the audience that I was trying to target. I could also see if I made it so that people that don’t know or understand anything about the internet or technology could still understand and follow the film. This should help me with my media career because it will help me know what I must do to make my future products better and how I can improve each time.
