My Analysis
The learning resources/materials are arranged properly. Books are well-
designated according to its type and function. Computers are freely accessible by the
students. There are spaces, tables and chairs which are arranged properly for the students
to be more comfortable. There is really a systematic way of borrowing materials.
The guidelines and procedures facilitate easy access to the materials by the
teachers because students can borrow books without so much time spent with the help of
the aids who are very used and exposed with the books. The school has chosen the
appropriate books which are very much helpful for the students as well as the teachers.
Library is considered as the source of knowledge in most schools. Library is the
backbone of every successful one. It provides information which is beyond one’s mind. It
answers most of the queries of students. It has only limited space which is not enough to
accommodate the number of students the school has. It lacks reference books and many
of them are outdated and old. Moreover, the school must take an immediate action in
providing more reliable books and if possible, computers must be internet connected for
search matters.

My Reflections
As I entered the library, the properly arranged books in the shelves greeted my
eyes and caught my interest. They are well-arranged and numbered accordingly for easy
access. It is also conducive for learning since silence is strictly observed.
Among the gadgets/materials, the books are easy to use for me and I am confident
to operate since I am exposed in it since grade school.
I am not confident in using the computers because it is programmed differently
from the usual computer I have handled. They perform specific functions which are
useful in the library.

My Portfolio
This would be very helpful in developing the speaking ability of the students. This
way, instruction would be very effective especially in teaching English. Students could
hear what they say. They would be very conscious and careful on what they will say. In
the end, they will be very proficient in speaking the language.
