Forward-Looking Statement
Statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995:
This presentation may contain forward-looking statements that involve risks, uncertainties, and assumptions. If any such uncertainties materialize or if any
of the assumptions proves incorrect, the results of salesforce.com, inc. could differ materially from the results expressed or implied by the forward-looking
statements we make. All statements other than statements of historical fact could be deemed forward-looking, including any projections of product or
service availability, subscriber growth, earnings, revenues, or other financial items and any statements regarding strategies or plans of management for
future operations, statements of belief, any statements concerning new, planned, or upgraded services or technology developments and customer contracts
or use of our services.
The risks and uncertainties referred to above include – but are not limited to – risks associated with developing and delivering new functionality for our
service, new products and services, our new business model, our past operating losses, possible fluctuations in our operating results and rate of growth,
interruptions or delays in our Web hosting, breach of our security measures, the outcome of any litigation, risks associated with completed and any possible
mergers and acquisitions, the immature market in which we operate, our relatively limited operating history, our ability to expand, retain, and motivate our
employees and manage our growth, new releases of our service and successful customer deployment, our limited history reselling non-salesforce.com
products, and utilization and selling to larger enterprise customers. Further information on potential factors that could affect the financial results of
salesforce.com, inc. is included in our annual report on Form 10-K for the most recent fiscal year and in our quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the most
recent fiscal quarter. These documents and others containing important disclosures are available on the SEC Filings section of the Investor Information
section of our Web site.
Any unreleased services or features referenced in this or other presentations, press releases or public statements are not currently available and may not
be delivered on time or at all. Customers who purchase our services should make the purchase decisions based upon features that are currently available.
Salesforce.com, inc. assumes no obligation and does not intend to update these forward-looking statements.

Editor's Notes

  • #3: Key Takeaway: We are a publicly traded company. Please make your buying decisions only on the products commercially available from Salesforce. Talk Track: Before I begin, just a quick note that when considering future developments, whether by us or with any other solution provider, you should always base your purchasing decisions on what is currently available.
  • #4: Little old me. Brings out both my experience and joke about Pr-oh-ject and Pro-oh-cess.
  • #5: Key Speaking points: - Salesforce.org has grant of 10 EE licenses for 501c(3) organizations in the US, or similar throughout the world. - Usually a very happy time … cause $15,000 woth of free licenses is a good reason to get happy
  • #6: Key Speaking points: - There’s a famous canadian band called Arrogant Worms who sang “Canada’s really big” - And I am saying that Salesforce is like Canada in that aspect. - Frustration isn’t caused by the fact that “it’s hard”, it’s caused by “where do I start”
  • #7: Key Speaking points: Free puppies are never free, but they are damned cute. You have to buy food, newspaper, vet costs, new couch when they destroy it…
  • #8: Key Speaking points: The five points I am about to give are a mixture of things you can do personally, although two of them get help from the ‘community’ Other people can be your superheroes in arms as well. Make sure you use them.
  • #9: Key Speaking points: Overview of five areas to talk on
  • #10: Key Speaking points: Trailhead is free and available at trailhead.salesforce.com Allows you to get a breadth of experience. Dip your toes into the ocean of features. Not meant to be an extremely deep dive, but a starting point.
  • #11: Key Speaking points: Multiple trails you can complete (broken into Admin, Dev and User along with beginner, intermediate and advanced) The two trails I recommend to complete for new admins
  • #12: Key Speaking points: gamification. Always fun to collect badges There are time-sensitive badges you can collect as well, such as Catter, Back to the Future Day and Get Ready for DF 15.
  • #13: Key Speaking points: Power of Us Hub is a community explicitly for nonprofits Check out the Chatter Groups to find those that truly will help and appeal to you and your organization. Can ask questions specific to NPSP, NGOC, etc.
  • #14: Key Speaking points: Salesforce community, with close to 2 Million users. Great resource for Salesforce questions, documentation, as well as Help and Training and the IdeaExchange. All User Group chatter groups live here.
  • #15: Key Speaking points: Add map for location you are speaking on. If there is no nonprofit specific group in your area, join the Salesforce group Great way to network, meet ‘birds of a feather’, ask questions to people in person. NP Groups in this picture… Michigan, Ohio, Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC and Toronto.
  • #16: Key Speaking Points: YouTube feels old school these days, but it has a plethora of videos to watch. Salesforce.org does have a channel Youtube.com/salesforcefoundation Collection of how to’s, updates and marketing videos from last 6 years.
  • #17: Key Speaking Points: Sometimes yourself and the community isn’t enough. That’s where paying for external assistance comes into play. Salesforce University – classes online and in person to help you go deep on a product or feature set. Is a class for NPSP. $1,700 for a 2 day session. Will be in NYC mid January (20 and 21).
  • #18: Key Speaking Points: First ever learning convention. Las Vegas in March Can get $300 off with coupon (go see the University booth)
  • #19: Key Speaking Notes: Partners are listed on salesforce.org website. Can get ideas on size, number of projects, number of certified individuals, and reviews on the AppExchange.
  • #20: Answer questions
