Ariadne is a European Commission-funded initiative aimed at improving data management and online access to archaeological resources, featuring online services from various countries. It provides extensive metadata records, archaeological reports, and has recorded significant web traffic, highlighting its usage across Europe and North America. The project also includes workshops and guidelines to promote good data management practices in archaeology.

ADS usage • 1st February 2013 -‐ 31st July 2014: 393,964 unique visitors including 234,607 downloads and 3,030,646 page views. • 22nd-‐ 25th ARIADNE workshop, CAA, Paris: – The average number of visits to the ADS website calculated across the three weekends in April prior to the conference is 2125 – the weekend following the conference the number of visits to the ADS website increased by over 25% to 2755

ARACHNE usage 1 Feb 2013 – 31 July 2014: • 387,390 sessions by 198,876 users • Average number of pages per session was 7.66 • Average session duraLon was 6 minutes and 5 seconds. • 3% of site users (76,423) have visited the ARACHNE website more than 15 Lmes. • 50% Repeat visitors and 50% new visitors
