Google Analytics Basics
After you login to your account and click on the view reports section, you will land on this page. This is the dashboard page of your Google Analytics
Change the date range of the reports you wish to see on the right hand side top corner as given below
First Click On Traffic Sources on the left menu bar and then click on keywords. First Click	Second ClickThese are the keywords your customers used to land on your website.
You can use the second tab given below to further refine your search on keywords and their source etcThis can help you extensively to understand factors like which search engines they came from or is the traffic from your googleadwords or organic
Important pointers to be noted while analysing your google analytics account.Always look at the time on site and bounce rate as this can help you understand if people like or dislike your website.Analyse the keywords that are bringing in more clicks and their relevance to the product or service you offer.Note the landing page and the exit pages, if you have a sign up form or shopping cart analyse at which stage your customers leave your site.Compare the highly productive keywords in Google Adwords against your natural ranking.
