JAGANNATH INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT SCHOOL Vasant Kunj, New Delhi - 110070 (Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi) NAAC Accredited and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certified GUIDELINES FOR MINOR PROJECT REPORT FOR BBA (Semester III) Students Only Summer Training is a major part of the Course Curriculum of BBA. The project report & presentation prepared carry 100 marks as a part of University criteria. If any student fails to submit project report they will not be able to clear their papers in Final Year University Exams. INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS: 1. It is compulsory for all the students to make the project report in 3rd Semester. 2. Students are required to prepare their project report and get it evaluated by the by your faculty in charge as per timelines. 3. No two project report of any students should be identical, in any case, as this may lead to the cancellation of your project report by the University. Last Date to submit Project Report to the class coordinator: October 10 November. Timelines S. Guidelines of Writing the Project Report NUMBER OF PAGES: Minimum 35 pages Maximum 70 pages TYPING INSTRUCTIONS: o Border Indents 0 Top, Bottom & Right – 1 Inch ƒ Left – 1. 5 Inch o Page Numbering – Bottom centered o Font Type – Times New Roman o Font Color – Black only o Font Size – Uniform & Consistent throughout the report ƒ Chapter Heading – 16 (Bold) ƒ Titles – 14 (Bold) ƒ Normal Text – 12 (Regular) o Line Spacing – 1 . 5 o Graphical Presentation – Color / Black & White o Reference Number - Each and every Table / Exhibit / Figure must be assigned its reference number. E.g. – Table 1.1, Fig 1.1, etc. BINDING INSTRUCTIONS: o Two Copies - Black Hard Binding with Golden Imprint PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS: o Paper – Executive Bond o First Copy - Original in all respects. o Second Copy originally printed / photocopy of the FIRST copy. SUBMITTING PROJECT REPORT: Project Report is to be submitted to the class Coordinator after getting approved by your faculty in charge.

TENTATIVE FORMAT OF PROJECT REPORT Copy of Cover Page Student Undertaking / Declaration Acknowledgement Table of Content Chapter1 Conceptual Discussion (Theoretical Background) A brief theoretical backdrop and literature review about the project is required to be given like referring to some standard text books, journals, magazines, newspaper, etc. Attempt should be made to collect latest information by scanning latest articles published in periodicals, journals, etc. Chapter 2 Introduction 2.1. Overview of Industry as whole - # - 2.2. Profile of the Organization - # - 2.3. Problems of the Organization - # - 2.4. Competition Information - # - 2.5. S.W.O.T Analysis of the Organization - # - Chapter 3 Research Methodology 2.1 Overview of the Project 2.2. Objective of Studies - # - 2.3. Purpose of the Study 2.4 Data Sources Chapter 4 – Analysis / Study of topic - # - In this chapter secondary data collected from published records be systematically analyzed and tables, graphs, diagrams also are used wherever necessary to present the data. Every table / data should be followed by suitable interpretation. Chapter 5 – Findings/ Observations Based on analysis of the information relevant observations inference to be made / drawn.
