- 1. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
- 2. • I used internet explorer to research the band and genre. On internet explorer I used the website Wikipedia to research the history of the genre, British Hip Hop. As the chosen band Split Prophets are quite unknown there was little information about them on the internet, however a very useful site I used was their Facebook page. I used blogger to present my work on: research and music video, digipack and advert.
- 3. • I used PowerPoint to show my research into existing media products and band and genre research. I then used Slide Share, which allowed me to put these PowerPoint slides onto my blog. This allowed people to watch my PowerPoint presentations.
- 4. • We used YouTube to research into the band Split Prophets previous music video’s. We uploaded our finished video to YouTube where it was watched by our audience. We then uploaded the YouTube video link to Facebook where our friends could comment and we could get their feedback. We also did this with our magazine advert and digipack, which allowed us to get audience feedback.
- 5. • We used a canon 650d camera to shoot our music video on. This allowed us to upload the video to YouTube to allow audiences to watch it, then onto our blogs. • We used Photoshop cs3 to edit our digipack and magazine advert on. This allowed us to make them professional and appeal to the audience. • I conducted a survey through survey monkey to get audience opinions on our chosen genre. I then posted the survey and results on my blog.
