- 2. The Blurb When we were in school, the question was "What do you know?" Now, for most of us, the question is "How can I know this?" and "how do I know it's true? " This presentation will go beyond searching to discuss some real-world dilemmas in Knowing in the 21st Century .
- 3. What do I mean? How do we know when the amount of digital information now exceeds 281 gigabytes? How do we know when we have to separate "truth" from outright false information and myriad shades of truth? How do we know what to know next when we can pursue seemingly infinite paths to knowing more about the areas of our careers?
- 5. How Much Information? 2003 Print, film, magnetic, and optical storage media produced about 5 exabytes of new information in 2002. The amount of new information stored on paper, film, magnetic, and optical media had about doubled from 1999 to 2002.
