- 2. Introduction Enterprise In Odoo we can identify the records by using sequence numbers. Sequence numbers are unique identifiers for the records of a particular model. It is also possible to change the sequence numbers for the model. This slide will show how to change the sequence number in Odoo 17 sale order.

Enterprise Sequence Numbers ● Sequence numbers are unique identifiers to identify the records of a particular model. ● Let’s go to Settings -> Technical -> Sequences & Identifiers - > Sequences to see all the created sequences. ● It is also possible to change an existing sequence pattern of a model.

Enterprise ● From the form of sequence number we can change the options such as: ● Prefix and Suffix : Give prefix and suffix for the sequence. ● Sequence Size: Size of the sequence and odoo automatically adds some ‘0’ on the left of the ‘next number’ to get the required padding size. ● Use subsequences per date_range: Enable this to use subsequences per date range. ● Step: The next number of the sequence will be incremented by this number.
