- 2. Getting Started To get started in your web browser go to: https:// www.blogger.com /start To use blogger you will need a Google account.
- 3. Creating a Google Account To create a Google account go to http:// www.google.com / and click on sign in and create an account.
- 4. Sign In Once you have an account with Google: Use your Google email as your username Type in your password Sign in
- 5. Selecting the Dashboard At the dashboard Click create a blog Name your blog under blog title Under blog address (url)give the blog an address you may use the title with no spaces Check availability to see if the address hasn’t already been taken You may click on advanced blog setup if you plan to host your blog somewhere else as well. Click on start blogging Next on the template give it a title and choose your font
- 6. Posting Under the posting tab begin to type what you'd like your post to say on the main page
- 7. Settings Under the settings tab Give the blog a title Give the blog a description And answer yes or no to the next few questions as you’d like Save settings or delete your blog if needed
- 8. Layout Under the layout tab Arrange your blog as you’d like clicking on edit or the “add a Gadget” on the tabs and pasting any text, pictures, feeds, or any other editing. For further help, on any specific topic, click on Help at the right corner of your blog page.
- 9. Viewing Blog View the blog You can periodically click on view blog to see what your page will look like when it’s posted click customize on your right hand side of the page to go back to editing mode.
