How to effectively use
presentations in the classroom
Power Point is the type of technology that I
  chose to use for my presentation
 It is visual
It can be interactive
It is streamlined
Visual Appeal
• Power Point enables the teacher to add a vast
  amount of visual aids from multiple online
  sources
• The teacher is able to show students examples
  of the concepts with videos and pictures

  teacher and the technology to gather
  information
• When the audience is engaged, learning
  increases

   The teachers notes are highlighted with important facts:

• Bacterial Transformation
What clues did bacterial transformation yield about the gene?
By observing bacterial transformation, Avery and other scientists
   discovered that the nucleic acid DNA stores and transmits genetic
   information from one generation of bacteria to the next.

The student fills in the blanks on his or her pre printed paper:

Streamline
• Power Point allows the teacher to convey
  important knowledge in a concise, orderly
  manner
• Each slide can contain one important concept

  important details

  a way that is visual, interactive, and concise.
