HOW TO SCORE GOOD MARKS
IN EXAMS
STEPS
1. Listen carefully in lectures and absorb as much as knowledge you can.
2. Search more and more in internet about the topics taught in lectures.
3. Try to relate what you studied in class to the outer world.
4. Take breaks between study hours and spend time on your hobbies.
5. Eat according to your diet before exams.
6. Sleep well before your exams.
7. Have all necessary supplies.
8. Drink lots of water.
9. Keep your Mind open during Exams.
10. Write down important things.
11. Do first what you know.
12. Look for references or clues in other questions.
13. Never leave any questions blank.
14. Keep a watch on Time.
LISTEN CAREFULLY IN LECTURES AND
ABSORB AS MUCH AS KNOWLEDGE YOU CAN
For scoring more in exams you ought to be
focussed in your classes. Don't waste time in
writing down everything taught in the class just
give time to understand the concepts. Take
notes of only important topics.
SEARCH MORE & MORE ON
INTERNET
Search everything about the topic taught in
classes. Study those topics in details and also
check the authenticity of the material posted
on internet, so that it makes your answer more
viable.
RELATE TO THE PHYSICAL
WORLD
Try to relate what you have learned in your
lecture to the physical world. For instance, lets
say today i have learned about Most favoured
Nation policy of WTO then i will look towards
how people residing near me give prefernces to
the people residing in the same locality and to
people who are living in different localities. In
nutshell just try to relate physical world things
with what you have studied.
TAKE BREAKS AND TRY TO SPEND
SOMETIME ON YOUR HOBBIES
Take frequent brakes and try to spend some
time on your hobbies. For instance, If I have a
hobby of listening to songs then after every
hour of studying i will take a break of 5 mins
and listen to a song and then again continue to
study.
EAT ACORDING TO YOUR DIET
Eating healthy will generally boost brain
performance too, so make sure you're always
eating a healthy diet to help you learn all
through your exams.
SLEEP WELL BEFORE YOUR
EXAMS
If you don't sleep you won't be able to focus
when the pressure's on! Make sure to go to bed
early the night before the exam, rather than
staying up all night to study. Your brain won't
be able to hold on to all that crammed
information anyway.
HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY
SUPPLIES
Go to your exam with all of the calculators,
pens, pencils, blank paper, and other supplies
you might need. Not having these things could
mean you'll have a much harder time!
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
Getting dehydrated during a exam can be
distracting and reduce your ability to think
clearly. Stay hydrated before your exam and
bring a bottle of water with you to the exam as
well.
WRITE IMPORTANT THINGS
FIRST
As soon as the exam begins, write down all
formulas or other important information on
some rough sheet at the backside of your
answersheet before you start going through the
questions. This will help keep you from
blanking when you need that information later.
STAY COOL & KEEP YOUR MIND
OPEN
Most importantly, In exams stay cool don't
panic. If you panic, then you will losse
unnecessary marks in silly mistakes. Keep your
mind open so that you could recall what you
have studied in class and some important
examples reffered in class.
DO THE PROBLEMS YOU KNOW
FIRST
Always do the fast, easy problems to which you
know the answer first. This will help make sure
that you get as much of the test done as
possible. If you get stuck, just move on to the
next problem that you can answer quickly.
LOOK FOR CLUES IN OTHER
QUESTIONS
Sometimes the answer to a question can be
contained within or hinted at in another
question on the test. Look at other answers or
questions to help jog your memory.
NEVER LEAVE ANY QUESTION
BLANK
Unless you're docked for incorrect answers,
never just leave a question blank. Write
something related to the question atleast you
will score some marks extra.
KEEP A WATCH ON TIME
This is important! Always keep track of how
much time you have and try to use your time
wisely. You can always go back to check or
improve your answers later!
