Open your browser

Type in Evernote

Click “Evernote”

Then you will see their
homepage

Download the desktop
application

by clicking “Download”

Evernote will then start
downloading

When download completes,

Click the file to launch the
set up program

This will pop up

Just click “Run”

If you have time, read the
License Agreement

And don’t forget to tick
this box afterwards

Then click “Install”

Complete the installation
by clicking “Finish”

You can now start creating
an account

Just type in your e-mail
address

and password

Then click “Register”

Congratulations! You can
now start using Evernote

Open the Evernote application

Just type your e-mail address

And your password

Then click “Sign in”

Let’s first learn how to
“Create a Note”

At the top of the main
Evernote window

you will see a button labeled
“New Note”

Once you click it,

Evernote will create a new
note on the right side

Give it any title you want

Then start typing on the
body of the note

You can change the font
style

Or the font size if you
want

The options are available
on top

When you are done typing
your note

It will automatically save
and synchronize your new
note

to Evernote on the web

They will also be
synchronized

Wherever you install and
access your Evernote
account

You can also create a
NOTEBOOK

A notebook is where you
put all your notes

On the left, click
“Notebooks”

Click “New Notebook”

Give your notebook a name

Then click “Ok”

You can make as many
notebooks as you can

You can also make as
many NOTES

Under each notebook that
you made

But aside from just simple
notes

You can also put other
kinds of notes in Evernote

Let me show you what I
mean

When you click the drop
down menu beside “New
Note”

You will see different kinds
of notes

Let’s see how they work

If you click “New Ink
Note”

A yellow pad on the right
will open

You can use the tools
above the pad

To write anything on it

Next is the “Audio Note”

Click the “Record” button
to start your recording

Then click “Save” once
finished

There goes your saved
recording

Next is the “Web cam
Note”

The camera will then get
ready to capture a picture

Click “Take Snapshot”

Then save to Evernote

There goes the “Webcam
Note”

And finally the “Screenshot”

Once you click it, you will see
a grid

You can click and drag the
grid

to the portion of the screen
you want to capture

This screen will pop up

This will allow you to make
annotations if needed

Using these tools on the
left side

Then Evernote will
automatically save the file

Everything in your
Evernote can also be shared
to others

Here’s how

Go to a specific file that
you want to share

Click “Share” drop-down

You will see many options

You can share by via URL

Once you click it, a URL
will be generated

You can already share this
through instant messages,
blogs etc.

If you send by email

Just type the email
addresses of the recipients

Then click “Send”

By clicking social

You will be able to easily
share your notes

To any of these social
media accounts

If you simply click “Share”
or “Share Note”

You will be able to share
in “Work Chat”

It’s one of Evernote’s
features that you can use

To chat with a group of
people

To do this, just click “New
Chat”

This will pop up

Create a group by typing
the email addresses

of your recipients

Then begin typing your
message

You can also share notes
and here’s how

Click the specific note that
you want to share

Click “Share”

The note will be attached
at the bottom part

Type the emails of the
recipients

You can also set
permissions

If you will let colleagues
view or edit your note.

You note now has been
shared with the group

Now, there are times when
you will come across

with interesting things online
and you want to share them

with other people too

You can easily do that with
Evernote clipper

But before you will be able
to use it

You have to download it
first

Again, open your browser

Then type “Evernote web
clipper”

When you click it

You will be directed to
this page

Click “Download”

You will see this page, just
click “Free”

This will pop up, click “Add”

When it has finished
downloading, you will see

this elephant icon

on the top right side of your
search engine

Click it then enter your
Evernote information

Again, just enter your
e-mail address

And your password

Then click “Sign in”

You may now start clipping
anything you see online

Let’s give it a try

Go to any website that
you like

If you want to clip this
page,

click the web clipper

You will then have options

If you click “Article”

This will automatically detect

the main body of the
story

Just click the + sign if you
want to expand it

If you click “Simplified
article”

You will only see the
simplified content

You can just save it to
Evernote for later browsing

The “Full page” will allow
you

to save a copy of the entire
page

If you don’t want to clip
the entire page

Just click “Bookmark”

And lastly, Click “Screenshot”

to take a snapshot of your
browser screen

By the way, when clipping a
webpage

Everything will be included,
even the links on the page.

Click any of those options,
then when finished

Click “Save”

Those are just some of the
basic uses of Evernote
