This document contains observations from multiple locations on how spatial design impacts people's feelings of privacy, crowding, and social interaction. Partitions, curtains, and separate units were noted as providing privacy in medical rooms and retail spaces. The height and seating placement in a concert hall reduced feelings of crowding. A hospital's high density and overlapping functions created an improperly defined space. Furniture arrangement in seating areas was seen to increase or decrease social interaction among people.

- 2. Location: Fatih Sultan Mah. 2719 Cad. No:10A/1-2, 10B Time: 16/11/2017, Daytime Privacy provides by partitions. When people use that area, thy feel secure and privacy. Not only serves for the customers, but also serves for stuff to feel privacy. Each unit is belong only one person.
- 3. Location: Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı 06590 Cebeci Time: 22/06/2017, Daytime The room designed for 2-3 people to stay. There should be a partition, curtain or something like that to provide privacy among people. In this example, while one of the patients sleeping, the other one was talking. Also, it may not be a problem for these patients since they are couple but most Probably it is a huge problem for people who do not know each other.
- 4. Location: Bilkent Concert Hall Time: 11/11/2017, Night People do not feel crowded because of good design. Height of the place and positions of seating make people not to feel crowding. Since the main function is the concert, people focus on stage.

People use the space for different function. The design of space is not properly define by architectural elements. (overlap) • People waiting on line, main circulation, seating area

Location: Arkadas Bookstore in Gordion Shopping Mall Time: 13/11/2017, Night According to Julian Edney, territoriality involves physical space, possession, defenseexclusiveness of use, markers, personalization and identity. This example is shows exclusiveness of use. The furniture shows the limits of space (sign), stuffs have right to use that space.
- 7. Location: Moving Stairs in Gordion (People leave the cinema after the film) Time: 13/11/2017, Night People who use moving stairs use personal space. If they are close friend, family members, they come closer to each other. If there is an unacquaintance, people leave some space. Some people wait for the ones who are in front of them to leave a space.
- 8. Location: Seating Units Next to Tchibo in Gordion Shopping Mall Time: 13/11/2017, Night The arrangement of chairs is placed to increase the social interaction among people.
- 9. Location: Seating Units in the middle of Circulation Time: 13/11/2017, Night The arrangement of chairs is placed to discourage the social interaction among people. People using the seating units shows the interaction between people. (Not very comfortable)
