Welcome to ICT I
Hi, I’m Mrs. Spille
• This is my second year at CMS
• I love teaching and learning about
technology!
 My goals for this year:
-To teach you how to use the computer
technology and devices effectively
- To help you think and learn
- To help you do your best
- To have fun!
ICT I - Rules
Rule One
 Treat the computers with respect. Be
gentle and take care of them!
- Carefully pull out a computer from the
cart
- Be patient and gentle when using the
computers
- Log out & shut down when class is over.
- Do not close the lid until the computer
is off
- Plug in your computer when you return it
to the cart
Rule Two
Do not change the
background on the
computers or
download any files.
Rule Three
No food or drink
near the computers.
Rule Four
You should always stay
on task and only use
the programs we are
working on in class.
Rule Five
Raise your hand” by
placing the clip
on top of your
computer if you are
stuck or totally lost.
Classroom Procedures
 Take a computer from the cart.
 Find a seat. Remember, only 4 to a
table!
 Log on.
 Log onto Canvas, read and answer the
question of the week.
 Wait for the instructions of the day.
 When teacher is giving instructions, close your computer lid.
 If the teacher calls “time for a stretch”, take hands off the
computer and look up.
 Log off and save all work at the
end of class.
