A teacher who is prepared is well on his/her way to a successful instructional experience. The development of interesting lessons takes a great deal of time and effort. Sindh Reading Program brought scripted lesson plans for the teachers teaching early grades in our province, SRP scripted lesson plans are consist of five activities under gaming concepts, Likewise 1. Playing with sounds, 2. Playing with letters, 3. Let’s read faster, 4. Let’s read together and 5.Read Aloud, every activity in single lesson plan with individual title is inter linked to the learning the sindhi reading. Here I discussed the importance of visual aid, The SRP dedicated its lot of review in this teaching method and introduced flash cards, game cards and charts essential almost every lesson plan using the no cost low cost material. Flash cards (Pictures) are great tool for seeing and learning things in teaching methods. With the aim of making reading skill better in student with the early grades SRP let her teachers to use the flash cards as basic visual aids. Research shows words in air and gestures with hands can be forgotten but visuals do not. The aim of using Flash Cards to learn the reading is to improve the independence and self esteem of all children with learning difficulties/struggling students. Flash cards are a really handy resource to have and can be useful at every stage of the class. They are a great way to present, practise and recycle vocabulary.

BY: SRPEMPTLA84_Sikander Ali Rajput District :Jacobabad As a master trainer I know the importance of visual aids and as a Teaching & Learning Associate I tried my bests to support SRP targeted teachers to develop the Flash Cards (visual Aids) at their classes as per SRP class room requires. I went to the schools and suggested teachers to get collect some empty cartons, wrappers of biscuits or candies from shops and confectionary cabins where such no cost things are considered as waste, and get cut them down in specific size and utilize as flash cards and game cards. Flash cards are the faster learning tools we can use; it engages active recall and students learn much more than other activities. When students see the flash card, their brain is given a clue on the front side and they attempt to actively recall the information on the back. Each time a student practices this process it means that they are forcing their brain to remember concept. This makes using flashcards such a compelling method of memorization. Flash cards, particularly image flashcards, help learners understand new words, definitions and facts which builds comprehension skills that is our destiny on the behalf of Sindh Reading Program. For this reason, using flashcards is linked to learn reading, with 93% of teachers saying that flashcards help students learn reading. It’s only natural that flashcards are a powerful tool for young learners as improved comprehension skills result in faster reading speed.
