The Paris Open Source Summit 2017, led by Christian Paterson from Orange, highlighted the transformative potential of open source in the context of the ICT revolution and its impact on society and economies. Orange's Open Source Governance Initiative (OSAI) aims to promote collaboration, awareness, and accessibility in open source projects while avoiding redundancy. The initiative is structured with guidelines and tools across various domains and involves participation from 20 organizations across six countries.
