The IPTC Semantic Web Working Group met to discuss representing news metadata in HTML using RDFa (rNews) and microformats (hNews). They considered a draft of the rNews vocabulary and its upcoming experimental phase. They also discussed ontologies for news and cooperation with other groups on linked data and semantic web technologies for news.
