This document discusses a system to generate electricity from vehicles driving on highways. Rollers would be installed on the road and connected via gearing to a dynamo. As vehicles pass over the rollers, the rotation of the rollers would turn the dynamo to generate electricity. Calculations were done to determine the power generated based on vehicle speed, weight, and number passing per minute. It was determined that 11.5W and 13W could be generated for vehicle speeds of 80 km/hr and higher. The goal is to tap into the energy from road transportation and utilize it through storage in batteries.
