This document reviews hand gesture recognition technologies and proposes a universal gesture controller. It discusses using accelerometers and gyroscopes to detect hand motions and map them to controlling various devices like home appliances, Bluetooth devices, and games. A proposed system is described that uses a microcontroller, Bluetooth, 3D accelerometer, display, and IR sensor in a wrist-worn device to control lights, fans, and games via hand gestures. The system aims to provide an intuitive, natural way for humans to interact with technology through gestures.
