The document presents a novel approach for cooperative caching in disruption tolerant networks (DTNs) to enhance data access efficiency for mobile users facing low node density and unpredictable mobility. It proposes intentional caching at selected network central locations (NCLs) and introduces a probabilistic metric for NCL selection while coordinating multiple caching nodes to optimize data accessibility and overhead. Extensive simulations demonstrate that this cooperative caching strategy significantly improves data access performance compared to existing methods.
