I. Horizontal Acceleration 
A tank filled with water is pushed horizontally at constant acceleration of 2.8 m/s2
. If the tank is 4 meters long and 
the depth of the water is 2 meters when at rest, compute (a) the angle of the water surface to the horizontal, (b) the 
maximum pressure intensity on the bottom, and (c) the minimum pressure intensity on the bottom.

II. Vertical Acceleration 
A vessel is filled with water and is accelerated upward direction at 5 m/s2. The vessel is 2 m wide and 2.8 m in height 
and the depth of the liquid is 1 m. Calculate the pressure at the bottom while the vessel is accelerated.
