Ls introduction

Lesson study is a collaborative approach to teacher professional development that was initially developed in Japan. It focuses on addressing a specific learning challenge through lesson planning meetings, observing an enacted lesson, and evaluating meetings to improve student learning rather than teacher instruction. The process asks teachers to consider what questions they would ask and what data they would collect at each stage to better understand and support student learning.
