John T. Davis from T3 InfoSystems presented on the new Management Reporter 2012 software. The presentation highlighted reasons to change from the previous Frx software, including support for 64-bit systems and using SQL instead of Access. It also noted standard look and feel across reports and single sign-on via Active Directory. Functionality includes familiar row and column report structures, tree-level security, report groups, schedules, and Active Directory security. Reports can be generated and exported to IE, Excel, or stored for later access. Users can add comments to reports and transfer comments between versions.
