Because DuPont is rather large and has global interest, this project was split among several regions. I was the Project Manager for two regions, responsible for both the US region and Asia Pacific. As such, I was responsible for getting these tasks done by managing a set of global team members. Specific tas k included determining work flow processes, making sure that both regions clearly understood the scope of the project, managing the day to day operations of said project for both regions, and using test cases to verify proper functionality of said controls that we put into place. I was able grasp the concept of using scripting languages such as Java Script to make HTML code interactive. • Managed a small team that developed a working striped down Prototype of said web portal (used for demonstration purposes to our client). This meant that I had to train that team on all aspects of the software life cycle because the prototype had to fit the design specs determined by our client.
