Some controlled use of camera although some shots out of focus. Editing: Edited well in parts. Good variety of shots used throughout. Sound: Some good use of diegetic sound, although no non-diegetic sound added. Overall: A basic drama piece that would have benefited from more attention to mise en scene and sound. Titles not appropriate for genre. Evaluation – Comments and mark out of 11/20 Question 1: Answered using word and slideshare. A very basic answer comparing their film opening to The Expendables, some conventions outlined. Question 2: Answered using prezi. Candidate explains extremely briefly that it is youth represented negatively in his film opening, with some detail as to how via choice of costume. Question 3: Answered using Microsoft visio and slideshare. Candidate explains proficiently that Vertigo would be best suited to distribute his film, text slightly blurry and would benefit from being upload with another programme. Question 4 and 5: Answered using power-point and slideshare. Target audience has been described well and a brief survey of 10 people has been conducted. Analysis is brief with some good reflection on the results. Question 6: Answered using word and slideshare. Good detail on all the technologies used throughout the process, however the blogger, prezi, slideshare could have been included as further technologies used. Question 7: Answered using word and slideshare in an essay style response. Candidate provides a short reflective piece explaining what he has learnt throughout his journey, some important lessons learnt. Overall a high basic evaluation. Tendency to use word and slideshare to answer many of the questions. Total 55/100 Grade: D
