Introduction Introduction to Schools Thakur Phool Singh Serbind Singh Public School situated in Rural Area in Simhara Kashimpur with a motivation to provide Education to childrens of Remote Areas and Villages and help them in gaining knowledge which can build a Better and Strong India in Future. It was established in 2012 in District Niyamatpur to Educate each and every child of area at affordable cost. All this possible due to Mr. Rakesh Chauhan Dream-”Everyone will get education” he didn’t get education due to financial problem of his Family at that time By doing hardwork he able to open a school and make his dream come true. Vision Our Vision is to provide a rich,stimulating and caring environment in which the child feels happy,safe,secure and confident. Mission Our Mission is to Educate each and every individual and ispire the Youths of india to build a better world for our Coming Generation with the help of the path of Education. - 6. About Community Development Project (CPD) I am very happy that i being the part of this project and work with such a good School from 26th June 2019 to 20th July 2019. I feel so proud that I have being able to teach children the importance of our environment and hygiene. I have played a catalyst role. I have divided my work time in four parts. 1. Giving Basic information about Global warming ,greenhouse gases etc.(26th June to 27th June) 2. How to deal with daily life waste in School as well as in House (28th June to 08th July) 3. Techniques ,Methods we can keep our school disease free , neat and clean (9th July to 15th July) 4. Orgnaised Programs for childrens How can we Save and make Eco friendly nature (16th July to 20th July) I have tried my best to teach the children , I do believe that, “If we want children to flourish,to to become truly empowered,then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it” COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 4

Daily visit to my school to identiy number of problems help me in knowing what are situations are faced by rural children in schools and i am very happy to help them to fix these issues. As You can see in the picture childrens are drinking water from an unhygenic open blue tank which can cause health issues to them. After fews days of project we resolve this issue we wil see in the next page. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 5

Objectives of CDP Like other developing country India is also facing some social problems like increasing pollution, poor surroundings in schools which is hindering in education and health and thier welfare. So we have to find out some problems and best solution which will help them to improve their life style, and will have long impact in thier lives 1. To aware the people: The main objective of Community devlopment is working to make the people aware from various problems in the schools ,houses or in public places which affect the health and negative impact on our environment such as global warming. 2.All sided Development: Community program is interested in all aspects of community.The development is necessary in these as a whole in education,health and warefare of childrens. 3.Change in Thinking: One of the objectives of community development program are changing of pattern and style of community people. It gives new direction achieve sustainabale development.Gradually saving our Earth from degrading. 4.To motivate people:Programs are working for the motivation of childrens.That nature is so important to us we can’t survive a second without it.Resources are limited and we have to use it very carefully. 6COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
- 9. Actions Taken To resolve the Problems Our Project is implemented for 20 days excluding sundays to solve the listed above problems that we encountered during our visits. Basically we divide the work into four parts This is a snapshot from Swachhagraha Oath in which I told how nature is important to us to the children with the help of these lines -”We know that the natural environment provides us with a wide range of ‘ecosystem services’: all the things that people need and want that come from the natural world of which human beings are a part but they are degrading gradullay leads us to the path of destruction if steps are not taken now there will be no life for our future generation and not able to survive” 1.Basic Education COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 7
- 10. 2.Water Management Programs As soon as we encountered the water wastage problem in the school.I talked to manager of school for resolving these issues as soon as possible and take the following steps: (i)We put a water tank for drinking water with well maintained taps as u can see in the photo to avoid extra wastage of water. (ii)We fix the leakage of water from the roofs in the monsoon with the help of workers for the convenience of the childrens. (iii)We suggested an idea of builting drains and channels to lead the dirty water to water treatment canal . - 11. 3.School Hygiene Programs After encountered the problems such as Dirty toilets, Poor Quality of Air, Stinky Environment etc. We took the following steps to overcome the problems as listed below: (i).We suggested to rebuild the school building and an additional place for washroom and toilets. School manager agrees to our idea and started the construction work as u can see in the picture. (ii) We have done a survey in school with the help of Childrens to Rate the cleanliness of toilets as follows: 1. -Dirty 2. - Not so Clean 3. -Clean To put a sticker of this color in each toilet after observing and told me after then.. within 1 weeks we saw the imporvment in cleaning toilets and washrooms of school in the form of pictures: 1st Day 4th Day 7th Day COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 9
- 12. 4.Programs for Eco-friendly Surroundings At the end of our project we orgnaised small events or interaction programmes that help us to know what are the things that are going in a normal student and how can we change thier thinking to make the surroundings green and eco-friendly (i) We Placed dustbins in the school to reduce the trash and keep your envirnoment clean. With the help of all these hard work and efforts that we made helping us to ovecome form the problems like less trees,Dusty environment ,Low quality of air,Breathing Problem,Animal shit etc. For reducing the paper wastage we asked Manager to introduce children with the digital system and projectors also put focus on make everything online gradually in next few years which help us to tackle this problem. - 14. Facts and Figures Division of children on the basis of classes observe in School 1.Upper class children (53%) 3. Lower class children (18%) 2.Middle class children (26%) 4.Below poverty Line (3%) The Strength of school is 320 students with 12 staff members when i talked to the manager about more good facilites .He told me that for this purpose we have to increase the fees which can affect the parents lives.He also told me that they are giving the best facilities at nominal fees. In last few years there is rapid growth in admission of childrens from rural areas and they are gradually realizing that education is the only key to sucess and also he mention that he will convert the primary school 10+2th level. - 15. Conclusion In recent years,a number of social forces have changed the school system and the environment portection activities. In india one of main problem is poverty.People are living below the poverty line.Children are deprived of basic education,they are having health issues,and they are not getting proper food. For survival they unknowingly cut the trees forests for their living but eventually damaging our environment.So now Indian Government is working to help her people.Besides that nowadays persons like Mr. Rakesh chauhan are working to help to educate the people and spread the awareness of our nature.He also need Volunteers manpower through Community development project they are getting help by us. So we should contribute something to our community that will not make our community but also the entire world. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
